Courtyard Barn is a high-quality barn conversion sleeping up to 10 guests with full sized snooker table and hot tub.
There are 4 double bedrooms on the ground floor of Courtyard Barn and you will find a ladder staircase in the second hallway leading to a fifth bedroom. This room has twin beds, lovely oak floors and a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams.
Courtyard Barn bedrooms
The master bedroom contains a super-king sized iron bed and shows exposed period wooden ceiling beams. This gives the room a luxurious and comfortable feeling, and there are french doors leading into the courtyard. The en-suite bathroom has a wonderful cast iron Victorian bath with double sinks and a separate shower.
There are two additional family bathrooms on the ground floor, one with a washbasin, WC and a bath with shower attachment; the other with shower, WC and hand basin.
The second bedroom is king-sized and there are 2 other twin bedded rooms. They are all of a similar style with exposed beams and beautiful oakwood boarded floors. As a result, the bedrooms feel luxurious, warm and cosy and contain accessories to ensure they feel like a home.
The living space is extremely roomy reflecting the oak flooring and exposed beams throughout. Three large sofas enable you to get very comfortable; an efficient wood burning stove allows cosier nights to be had in inclement weather. There is a sizeable flat screen TV in the lounge area. French doors lead onto the garden bringing the outside in on warm days and evenings. If eating indoors, an adjoining dining area just off the living room has a large oak dining table, perfect for family and friends to gather around.
The kitchen & living rooms
The finish of the kitchen reflects the high quality throughout Courtyard Barn with pan-tile flooring, an island and breakfast bar. This feeling is enhanced by the large double aga and the modern kitchen appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave and double sink to name just a few.
To entertain all guests there is a sizeable games room just off the lounge, where you will find a full-size snooker table and a large selection of games.
The utility room has 2 washing machines, a large American fridge freezer and plenty of boot room type storage space.
Outside and garden
The property has parking for up to 4 cars.
The enclosed garden is large, complete with patio area for alfresco dining with associated garden furniture. Children’s can use the swing set and climbing frame to have fun and burn off excess energy.
There is a private patio area on the opposite side of the barn where there is a hot tub that seats up to 6 people along with patio seating and a non-gas BBQ.
The grounds include paddocks and woodland that stretch for 7 acres, plenty of room for children to play. If you have children or pets that require supervision, beware of an unfenced pond in the woodland area.
The local footpaths beyond the garden and grounds access quiet country lanes where you can walk to your heart’s content.
Surrounding area
The popular Georgian town of Holt is merely 4 to 5 miles away from Courtyard Barn. This has a plethora of eateries and shopping opportunities often visited by the royals.
Cley, Morston, Blakeney and Salthouse are all within a short distance from the Barn as is the rest of the beautiful North Norfolk coast. Seal trips out from Blakeney or Morston, Steam Train rides from Holt or Sheringham or walks along beautiful beaches or many local Country Parks are all great things to do during your stay with us. You could simply visit some of the award-winning pubs or retreats around the North Norfolk Coast.
